As an older car guy I'm into a particular style, and sport a timeless look involving a mild pompadour which requires a quality hair product. Gel or hairspray is all wrong, mousse won't hold, and Brylcreem is basically just mineral oil and old man smell. The Fisticuffs pomade has a stronger hold than what I buy at the store, and that's just what I like- I'd call it a firm hold/ medium shine and it doesn't contain wax or other junk that's bad for your hair (and hard to clean out). In fact, this water based product actually helps remove the buildup of other products like Murray's pomade. Like everything they sell, the scent is very pleasant and blends perfectly with the oils and balms to create your very own signature smell that will get positive attention wherever you go. When it comes to my appearance this pomade is the icing on the cake, and using these products means it's a damn fine cake.
My only complaint is that the jar can hold more product- please fill it to the top or use smaller jars- drawer space is a problem.
